Z-Station

Finally made the fuck-machine. That's stationary trap, which becomes turned on or off. I'm now making the final level (with math) and one more death animation (if you solve the equation wrong). After that, the 2nd chapter will be finished.

  1. another math problem? im doomed lol. haven't even the slightest clues on any of the answers before.

  2. I only knew how to solve the sign one. Not the quartic equation. So, I saw lots of guessing death on that one. It would be sadistic if the math came at the very end, after the play has come a long way evading death only to die because... too hard.

Is that sharp-looking shaft going to be driven right into poor Allie? Can't wait to see.

  4. The content is good. But, man, the game is really frustrating.
It's not hard - but it's stupid and annoys the player. It's all because if two things:
    1) The monsters patterns are RANDOM! And the player have a RANDOM chance of passing the level every time. So it's not for the skill, but all for the chance. OK, you've balanced the random somehow in the first levels by adding the hard-coded delay, but new levels are constantly out of balance. Man, you should really reconsider your algorithm of AI enemies. It's a platformer, not a f$#@ing lottery. And it SHOULD have a patterned or some other way simplified enemy behaviour to be playable. Remember - you're making the game, and you want the players to enjoy it, instead of breaking their keyboard over their head in an angry frustration, when another random rat monster catches you.

    2) You need to replay the full level every time you blame up (and you do so often, due to 1-st reason). Making some checkpoints inside the level would be really nice. Take a look at the "Tower of Change"

    Yes, I saw. Great ideas!

Oh, it seems you are right. All monsters in 2nd chapter have random patterns. But all of them have hardcoded delays between actions, and it's enough to pass them without chance to get captured.
But the game is still frustrating. Damn, gamedesign is so hard!

    >Take a look at the "Tower of Change"
I saw it. More, I was inspired by that game. But I have no idea how KavenBach (ToC's author) made checkpoints in the middle of the rooms.

I think, I'll not change monsters behaviors, but I'll add checkpoints to some levels.

  7. monsters may have random patterns but it's nice to have challenges..what I found frustrating are some jump areas where it's kinda hard to jump without the perfect timing..it looks like she's too heavy to jump..hahaha

  8. You callin her fat? D:

Dunno if you plan to do another poll for the next set of enemies or if you plan to take any other suggestions but one idea (while I know I suggested this before for the fuckmachine) but metal railings that follow a pre-determined path carrying saws or spinning blades. Giving a mix of timing and puzzle that is not math.

  9. >metal railings that follow a pre-determined path
That's good idea. I'll do that later.
I'm still preparing next update. It will be huge. Lot of features, at least two deaths of Allie, and some of other girls, teaser, new CG and so on.

  10. I'm not calling her fat..hehehe she's to sexy to be called fat..XD

I wish for her top to be off next chapter..there's a lot of naked women already so I think it's Allie's turn to remove her top and left the pantsu until next chapter..
