the spider death didn't really do it for me like i thought it would. we didn't get to see the spider laying eggs or coming out of her. i thought it would lay it's eggs in her vagina to use her womb to keep the eggs in.

Evil Vines need tweeking too, Its basically luck if you can get through it since they throw vines at no particular pattern.
Especially the 3rd one when you need to drop down, It can instantly kill you without giving you a chance.
And yeah, Game locks up at the end of 2-1
Even going back to the new game/load game screen it still locks up.
Doesnt say not responding though..game still runs.
Maybe it just takes a LONG time for it to load.

ReplyDeleteIf you can't get to level 2-2, but want to see it, open save.dat with notepad, and change text to
"r_C02_spider" (without quotes of course).

ReplyDeleteThe code doesnt make much difference, It cant seem to load the spider stage, It simply locks up.
Few other bugs I'd like to share with you though :D
Graphical Error Bug: Common on 1-3 and 1-4
Happens with some of the death scenes, As soon as the death is triggered, all blocks/floor in the area turn into Allie sprites, makes it hard to see what you're doing.
Sucker Animation Bug: Common on...anything that has the sucker!
Sometimes the animation for the sucker doesnt play, however, it can be skipped like other death scenes.
It simply shows 1 Sucker stopped and Allie vanishes.
I'll let you know of any others :) You prob knew about these but it doesnt hurt to say again xD
What videocard do you have? I'll try to test the game on it.

ReplyDeleteI have a clue about game freezing! Try to put the game in folder with simple path, C:\Game, for example. Not into My Documents or Desktop.

ReplyDeleteI think game is very good as it is, but would it be possible to zoom in when the heroine is dying? It seems the sprites are very detailed, but since the game is windowed and my resolution is pretty high, I can't see the finer details on the deaths.
ReplyDeleteBut, if there were a way to zoom in to her at the time of death, we'd probably be able to see more. This could work for cut-scenes as well, when she's talking to the girl in the cage. So, possible?

There's something else I'd like to see, but it's not that crucial...
ReplyDeleteWhen people get hanged, they often loose control of their bladders. So... :)
I mean, I'm not looking for huge torrents of urine, but in the last gasps of her death via hanging, it would be very neat to see her pee herself. So... if you can add that to the existing animation, that would be great.
Oh, and if you're zooming in to the heroine, you wouldn't have to worry about where the urine flows to (because the distance to the ground can vary depending on what noose catches her.)
OK, that's the last idea I had. Everything else is looking very good. I like how she doesn't have any offensive weapons to use, and I really like her jumping and crawling animations. She's every feminine. :)
Hi, I got a bug with the spiders. She was jumping pretty close to the spider when she got hit by it's spit, and the spider started going round and round, as if it couldn't work out the path.
ReplyDeleteEventually it just descended to the bottom of the screen, leaving the game in a strange state of her being webbed with no one to collect her.
