I started to add sounds to the game. I haven't expected that it's so hard. Also, I found a girl who accepted to record all necessary audio samples for Allie.
I want to move my blog again. Blogspot is so boooooring. Still not decided where to move. Probably to my personal site. So, I need a good hosting. Maybe you know one.

ReplyDeleteIt's nearly impossible to make her sound proper. She don't like to cry and scream and I work H.A.R.D. with her to create sounds I need for the game.

ReplyDeleteIs it really necessary to add sound effect? the current silence is quite good as it gives the player more imagination on how allie sound, it also gives us the freedom to make allie sound however we like in our head.

I fear this. So, I work incredibly hard with Allie's voice. I changed three actresses already, and still not satisfied with her voice.

ReplyDeleteNo. I'm too far from the beginning. Anyway, 52% of players don't like the game without sound. And me too. The only reason I didn't add sounds earlier is because it's too hard for just-for-fun project. But the poll results persuaded me to do this. And now it's too late to stop.

DeleteMmm... maybe this is an unethical comment but... there is a lot of games (and h-games, and free h-games) with girls screaming and moaning... well, why not use that? You choose one game (a free game,I supose), and take the sounds. Then you won't need an actress.

Other games have just moans and couple of interesting cries. But Allie likes to talk. "Can't move", "Mommy", "It burns" and so on. There are no games with all the sounds I need.

I like this game more than Vosmug, because it has checkpoints, and I can keep trying. =)
Vosmug is very easy compared to this game. Learn what the enemies do and its a clear walk to the end. While this game requires absolute precise timing on jumps etc.
